Planning application

37 Ham Hill Stoke Sub Hamdon Somerset TA14 6RW

Granted Exmoor National Park 26/00224/TCA Work to Trees

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

Notification of intent to Fell No. 1 Tree and carry out Tree Surgery works to No. 1 Tree within a Conservation Area. Douglas fir - T1 Large free standing Douglas fir tree near boundary of neighbouring property - dismantle tree down to ground level. We plan to plant a replacement tree - oak or liquid Amber in a similar position as the Douglas fir. Yew - T2 Large Yew tree on bank behind property. The proposed work is a maintenance cut. Reduce crown by 2-3 metres in size - recommended as the tree is on a steep bank behind the property and is well within falling distance of the house. The reduction will also increase daylight into the garden and house.
