T9 - Copper Beech Suggested works: Remove major hazardous deadwood T22, T23, T24 - Red Horse Chestnut Suggested works: Fell all to ground level Rationale: T22 and T23 have shown long term signs of disease and disfunction and have now reached a point where the risk has outweighed amenity value. T24 exhibits structural disfunction, removal of this tree along with its companion trees will allow for a comprehensive replanting project. T21 - Poplar, reduce low southern branch as identified in supplied photo, by 5m. 175mm diameter of cut. This low limb is nearly in contact with the streetlamp and once the limb reduction works on the adjacent tree (T19) take place in September this limb will be left exposed and the risk of failure will be extremely high.

Poplar NT3 This is a tree growing on adjacent land thought to belong to Exeter City Council, the tree overhangs 28 Curie Mews. Specification - Reduce the lowest branch over the north eastern aspect by 3.5m with a 100mm maximum cut diameter, not cutting beyond the boundary Reason for works - This branch has a potential point of decay 1m distal to its junction which may indicate some weakness. The aforementioned branch is also heavily weighted towards the end and it is hyperextended, it looks to have sagged under the load, separating from the general crown profile. It overhangs the garden and trampoline.
