Cut back (to significant growth points) the overhanging branches in our garden from a Luccombe Oak. This cut back will not be exceeding 25 cms and still ensure the health and well being of the tree. This Oak is in the corner of the garden of 3 Penleonard Close, Exeter EX2 4NY. The owner of the tree has given us permission. The tree is identified as A on the sketch plan

Large oak tree at front of house. Oak tree has grown significantly and is almost touching the building. We are looking for permission to reduce and thin the crown or pollard the tree. We have consulted with a tree surgeon who advise this work could be done without damaging the tree.

T1 - Oak. Crown reduce by the following: Northern and eastern aspects by 2m Southern aspect by 2.5m Western aspect by 1-2m Crown lift to 5m above ground level Rationale: This large tree has grown into close proximity with the house, necessitating a reduction. Please see Plan attached. This plan was submitted with a similar application on 7 October 2020. T 1 was felled in 2020. T2 and T3 were pollarded. T2 and T3 require pollarding again because of their proximity to the house. See detail on plan.) T3 is already touching the house and over the roof.

The tree is a Cypress tree located at the front of 11 Devonshire place, to the right hand side when looking at the house. We would like to replace the tree with a native tree species - either a rowan or a cherry - in order to provide flowers for pollinators in the spring/summer and food for birds in the winter. We would like to do the removal in late (~Nov) 2026, well after the bird breeding season, in order to plant the new tree in early 2027 after the last frosts. The tree itself sits at the boundary of a conservation area.

The tree is a silver birch. We would like to carry out "crown reduction" reducing the height of the tree from ~10m to ~7m. Similarly, we would like to reduce the spread of the crown at the rear to reduce the amount of overhang with our rear neighbours. We will keep the left-right spread similar, only carrying out "crown thinning" in this respect to ensure the tree does not block too much light from our neighbours' gardens and our own.

Mixture of bay and cherry large shrubs to remove, which have become overgrown in the contained area next to the electricity sub station. We have removed what we can so far, but need approval to remove the rest, as they are around 5 inches at waist height. Plan to remove fully as no remedial value where they are located. Approx 20 stems to remove WHAT3WORDS is stow.poetic.skills
