10 Mill View Close Ewell Surrey KT17 2DW
Ash tree in London Road Recreation Ground Ewell, very close to rear garden. The tree is mature with a 110 cm trunk diameter. There is a large branch approx 6.25 metres totallength of which approximately 5 metres (80% of total branch length) is overhanging approx two thirds of the garden. During windy weather, branches from the tree regularly drop into the garden and we are concerned that if the large branch fell it could cause significant damage and pose a risk to anyone in the garden at the time. We would like to cut the part of the branch overhanging the garden as it (a) poses a risk topeople and property and (b) blocks a lot of light from the garden. The length of the branch to be cut is approximately 5 metres which accounts for 80% of the overall branch.
