23 Palace Road East Molesey Surrey KT8 9DJ
East Molesey Kent Town Conservation Area - T1 - Mature Lime tree situated on front boundary. Tree has a height of approximately 18 metres and spread of approximately 10 metres. Proposed works are to selectively reduce lateral branches growing towards property and road by approximately 1.5 - 2 metres and lift crown to a height of approximately 4 metres. Height of tree will not be affected by these works and spread will be reduced to approximately 7.5 - 8 metres. These works are being carried out to reduce end weight and give clearance from property, footpath and highway. T2 - Malus tree growing beside T1. Tree has a height of approximately 4 metres. Tree has a large snapped limb and poor form. Proposed works are to remove the tree due to poor condition. T3 - Mature Lawson Cypress tree near to house in back garden. Tree has a height of approximately 14 metres and spread of approximately 4.5 metres. Proposed works are to remove the tree due to low vigour and sparse crown. T4 - mature Lawson Cypress tree within lawn area. Tree has a height of approximately 14 metres and spread of approximately 5 metres. Proposed works are to lift lower crown of tree to a height of approximately 2 - 2.5 metres. These works will not affect height or spread of the tree. G1 - Mixed Group of Yew, Lawson Cypress and Bay tree on right hand side of back garden. Proposed works are to reduce side branches by approximately 1 - 1.5 metres to balance trees and regain garden area from over extended branches, whilst keeping height and screening. Bay tree has a height of approximately 5 metres and will be reduced to height of approximately 3.5 metres and trimmed to shape. G2 - Mixed Group of Yew, Lawson Cypress and Laurel on rear boundary. Proposed works are to remove understorey Laurels and reduce over extended side growth on Yew and Lawson Cypress trees to regain garden space whilst keeping height and screening.
