Proposal
Tree Preservation Order ESH:28 - T1 Beech Tree - Fagus sylvatica TPO ESH:28 The crown of the tree is outgrowing its position in front of the house. Lower limbs are now extending down to touch cars parked on the driveway. Crown is nowtouching on a phone line and is encroaching towards the first floor of the house. When the tree is in leaf it blocks a significant amount of light.A crown reduction of 1.5 to 1.8 metres around the entire circumference of the crown is respectfully requested to alleviate the aforementioned issues. Pruning cuts to be made in accordance with BS 3998 pruning to growth points wherever possible and not reducing any limb past 1/3 of its origin diameter to achieve this thus not causing undue stress to the tree and retaining a natural shape to the crown.

ESH:28 and EL:307 - Beech - T1 - To crown lift mature Beech located in the front garden to 4.5m in height and reduce the overlong Lateral branches over the drive by 2.0m (from ladders and poles). All branches will be pruned to appropriate growth points. A well balanced shape will be maintained. The reason for this work is due to the tree being located over the driveway. The low hanging branches are starting to impact on the parking spaces below. This work has been carried out previously at some stage.T2 - To reduce Lowest Limb of the mature London Plane growing towards the chimney back to previous reduction points (approx. 2.0m) All branches will be pruned to appropriate growth points. A well balanced shape will be maintained. The reason for this works is due to the encroachment towards the property. Tree Preservation Order EL:18/07 - T1 - Horse chestnut - Proposed Works: Crown lift over the roadside only to provide a minimum clearance of 5.2 metres above ground level. All pruning shall be limited to secondary branches where practicable and carried out in accordance with BS3998:2010 Tree Work Recommendations, with a maximum pruning wound diameter of 50mm. Reason for Proposed Works: Following a tree survey, it was identified that the crown over the carriageway has been subject to contact from larger vehicles in the past. The proposed crown lift will provide appropriate clearance for high-sided vehicles, reducing the likelihood of future vehicle strikes and preventing unnecessary damage to the tree, whilst retaining its long-term health and amenity value.
