Works should involve the reduction of approximately 2 - 3 meters of extension growth, cutting back to suitable secondary growth points. Additionally, the portion of the crown over sailing the road to the south eastern aspect is recommended for a tip end thinning by approximately 30%. In areas where significant accumulations of deadwood are already present, thinning is unlikely to be appropriate or required. The existing prop is recommended for replacement.
