Tree Preservation Order EL:13/12 - Woodland Tree Preservation Order EL-13/12 Woodland edge adjoining the eastern boundary of No.1 Abbotts Tilt, Hersham (nearest location What3Words: moons.during.bags). This application relates to the mature woodland edge immediately adjoining the eastern boundary of No.1 Abbotts Tilt, Hersham, protected by Woodland Tree Preservation Order EL-13/12. The woodland canopy extends beyond the property boundary over the residential garden at No.1 Abbotts Tilt, the adjoining private estate road (Abbotts Tilt), and into close proximity with the overhead telecommunications line. Proposed Works Undertake a sympathetic lateral crown reduction limited to those branches extending beyond the boundary of No.1 Abbotts Tilt and over the adjoining private estate road. Prune overhanging branches back to suitable secondary growth points in accordance with BS 3998:2010 Tree Work Recommendations, maintaining the natural form, structural integrity and long-term health of the woodland edge. Maintain appropriate clearance from the overhead telecommunications line where branches are in close proximity. No felling, topping or excessive crown reduction is proposed. The works are limited to reasonable boundary management and are intended to retain the long-term health, stability and amenity value of the protected woodland. Reason for the Works The woodland canopy has continued to extend beyond the property boundary since the adjoining landowner???s appointed arborist inspected the trees and advised that further growth should occur before an application for pruning was submitted. That additional growth has now taken place The proposed works are limited to managing overhanging branches affecting the residential property, maintaining appropriate clearance over the adjoining private estate road and from the overhead telecommunications line, while preserving the health, structure, character and amenity value of the protected woodland. Reduce the entire overhanging c

Tree Preservation Order EL:89/15 - T1 - Oak - reduce overall by 3m and raise canopy up to 5m by removing secondary branches to leave a finished height of 15m and a finished spread of 9m. The Oak has developed into a large tree for its present location within a relatively confined rear residential garden, with the crown extending in close proximity to the boundary with the neighbouring property. The proposed works are intended to manage the tree's overall size and crown dimensions in relation to its setting, while retaining its contribution to the local amenity. The proposed work will maintain the tree at a more appropriate scale for its location and will provide greater clearance from the neighbouring property and improve the relationship between the tree and the surrounding residential garden environment. The works are intended as a proportionate management measure rather than removal of the tree, allowing the oak to be retained while reducing its current size and encroachment within a confined residential setting.

Branches have been breaking out from this tree and the homeowner worries that about ranch will eventually hit the house. Current height 18m, resulting height will be 15m. Width currently 16m, resulting width 10m. Removal of all dead and dangerous branches. T2- Beech tree- Fell- Removal of this tree down to ground level to ease the congestion in the area and allow light through to the area below. The upper canopy has been rubbing on neighbouring branches and has intertwined with both Oak trees creating extensive damage to the main stem in the upper canopy creating weak points on the tree. Width currently 16m, resulting width 10m. T4- Sweet chestnut tree- This tree creates a lot of debris through out the year and creates a lot of shade over the lawn and plants. To re pollard this tree back to previous pruned areas retaining the lower limb which has the rope swing attached. Regrowth approximately 2.5m of new growth.
