ESH:28 and EL:307 - Beech - T1 - To crown lift mature Beech located in the front garden to 4.5m in height and reduce the overlong Lateral branches over the drive by 2.0m (from ladders and poles). All branches will be pruned to appropriate growth points. A well balanced shape will be maintained. The reason for this work is due to the tree being located over the driveway. The low hanging branches are starting to impact on the parking spaces below. This work has been carried out previously at some stage.T2 - To reduce Lowest Limb of the mature London Plane growing towards the chimney back to previous reduction points (approx. 2.0m) All branches will be pruned to appropriate growth points. A well balanced shape will be maintained. The reason for this works is due to the encroachment towards the property. The branches are less than 30cm away from the building in places allowing for squirrels to easily access the roof. This work has again been carried out previously at some stage.

1 Kings Manor Court Oatlands Chase Weybridge Surrey KT13 9SG

Tree Preservation Order EL:20/08 - T38 - Oak Request to fell to ground level due to the tree's significantly declining condition and reduced long-term viability. The tree has been affected by Oak Processionary Moth (OPM), which has resulted in extensive crown dieback and a substantial reduction in vitality. In addition, the tree has suffered historic ring-barking damage caused during the construction of the adjacent residential development. This damage has disrupted the tree's vascular system and has likely contributed to its ongoing decline and limited ability to recover. The combined effects of OPM infestation and the historic stem damage have resulted in a severely compromised tree with extensive deadwood and dieback throughout the crown. The tree is located adjacent to neighbouring properties and areas of public access, and its deteriorating condition increases the risk of branch failure. Given the extent of the decline, poor physiological condition, and limited prospects for recovery, remedial pruning would not provide a sustainable long-term solution. Permission is therefore sought to fell the tree to ground level on the grounds of safety, declining health, and sound arboricultural management. A new tree wouild be planted to replacement

East Molesey Kent Town Conservation Area - T1 - Lime tree on rear boundary - tree has a height of approximately 20 metres and spread of approximately 12 metres. Proposed works are to reduce crown by approximately 2-2.5 metres to previous pruning points, remove regrowth on main trunk to lift crown to a height of approximately 3 metres, leaving the tree with a height of approximately 17.5 metres and spread of approximately 8 metres. These works are being carried out to give clearance from pool house, maintain the tree at a reasonable size suitable to location by carrying out cyclical pruning and allowing light into pool area.

  • 2026/1784 Granted

    34 Clive Road Esher Surrey KT10 8PS

Esher Conservation Area - T1 Leyland Cypress (Rear Garden) Fell to ground level. Reason for Works: The tree is situated in very close proximity to the adjacent outbuilding. As the tree has matured, the stem has increased to a diameter at breast height (DBH) of approximately 40 cm and is now in direct contact with the structure, causing abrasion and damage to the building. Due to the ongoing increase in stem diameter, further structural damage is considered likely if the tree is retained. The proposed removal is therefore necessary to prevent additional damage while maintaining the safety and integrity of the adjacent structure. T2 Lawson Cypress (Rear Garden) Remove one large declining lateral limb and carry out a crown clean to remove all deadwood throughout the canopy. Reason for Works: A substantial lateral limb is in decline, exhibiting extensive dieback and a significant reduction in live foliage. The removal of this limb is proposed to reduce the risk of branch failure and improve the tree's overall condition. In addition, deadwood will be removed throughout the crown to eliminate potential hazards, improve canopy health, and form part of routine arboricultural management.
