Tree Preservation Order EL:91/02 - TG2 - Common Lime - Crown reduction by up to 1 metres in height and spread - reason for work: The proposed crown reduction of the 2 Common lime by up to 1 metre in height and spread is intended to maintain the tree at or close to its current dimensions, ensuring it remains appropriate for the location in which it is situated. The works will help manage future growth while retaining a balanced and aesthetically pleasing crown, with only a limited impact on the tree's health and amenity value. All pruning works will be carried out in accordance with BS3998:2010 - Tree Work Recommendations, with pruning wounds kept to a minimum and not exceeding approximately 30mm in diameter.

East Molesey Kent Town Conservation Area - TG1 - Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) - 2 trees both the same location on map and work specification Two Sycamore trees (Acer pseudoplatanus) Proposed works (description) Crown reduction of both Sycamore trees by an average of approximately 1.5 metres, with over-extended limbs reduced by up to 2 metres. Works to be carried out evenly and selectively throughout the crowns to maintain their current overall size and to leave a natural, flowing, and aesthetically pleasing crown form. Maximum pruning wound diameter not to exceed 50mm. Reason for works The proposed crown reduction is intended to maintain the trees at or close to their current crown dimensions and to prevent further increase in size due to the trees being in very close proximity to the building at the rear of the property. The trees have been heavily reduced in the past, and continued cyclical crown management is considered appropriate to control regrowth, maintain structural balance, and reduce the need for more severe works in the future. All works will be undertaken in accordance with BS3998:2010 - Tree Work Recommendations, with the aim of retaining the trees while having only a limited impact on their health, amenity value, and long-term condition.

East Molesey Kent Town Conservation Area - T1 - Lime tree on rear boundary - tree has a height of approximately 20 metres and spread of approximately 12 metres. Proposed works are to reduce crown by approximately 2-2.5 metres to previous pruning points, remove regrowth on main trunk to lift crown to a height of approximately 3 metres, leaving the tree with a height of approximately 17.5 metres and spread of approximately 8 metres. These works are being carried out to give clearance from pool house, maintain the tree at a reasonable size suitable to location by carrying out cyclical pruning and allowing light into pool area.

    34 Clive Road Esher Surrey KT10 8PS

Esher Conservation Area - T1 Leyland Cypress (Rear Garden) Fell to ground level. Reason for Works: The tree is situated in very close proximity to the adjacent outbuilding. As the tree has matured, the stem has increased to a diameter at breast height (DBH) of approximately 40 cm and is now in direct contact with the structure, causing abrasion and damage to the building. Due to the ongoing increase in stem diameter, further structural damage is considered likely if the tree is retained. The proposed removal is therefore necessary to prevent additional damage while maintaining the safety and integrity of the adjacent structure. T2 Lawson Cypress (Rear Garden) Remove one large declining lateral limb and carry out a crown clean to remove all deadwood throughout the canopy. Reason for Works: A substantial lateral limb is in decline, exhibiting extensive dieback and a significant reduction in live foliage. The removal of this limb is proposed to reduce the risk of branch failure and improve the tree's overall condition. In addition, deadwood will be removed throughout the crown to eliminate potential hazards, improve canopy health, and form part of routine arboricultural management.
