Tree Preservation Order EL:89/35 - mature Oak tree situated in neighbouring garden on rear boundary. Tree has a height of approximately 19 metres and overall spread of approximately 15 metres. Proposed works are to reduce branches overhanging garden of 10 Burstead Close which in some areas of the crown have become over extended and stretch approximately 7-8 metres from main trunk. These branches will be reduced by approximately 2-2.5 metres. These works will only affect crown overhanging garden area to west, leaving spread of the tree at approximately 12-12.5m and not affecting the height of the tree. These works are being carried out to reduce end weight and allow light into garden area.

Tree Preservation Order EL:89/35 - T1- Scots Pine Carry out a crown reduction to the Scots pine, which has developed an asymmetrical form extending towards the property. Branch lengths will be reduced by approximately 1.5 metres to alleviate end loading, reduce the risk of limb failure, and improve clearance from the building. Selected downward growing branches will be removed to achieve a crown lift, eliminating heavily weighted limbs and raising the canopy to an appropriate height. All works will be undertaken in accordance with good arboricultural practice, ensuring the retention of the tree???s natural shape, structural integrity, and long term health. T2 - Holly Reduce the overall canopy of the holly by approximately 2???2.5 metres. The reduction will be carried out evenly on all aspects, including the side adjoining the neighbouring property, to form a more compact, balanced, and visually appropriate crown.

34 Clive Road Esher Surrey KT10 8PS
Esher Conservation Area - T1 Leyland Cypress (Rear Garden) Fell to ground level. Reason for Works: The tree is situated in very close proximity to the adjacent outbuilding. As the tree has matured, the stem has increased to a diameter at breast height (DBH) of approximately 40 cm and is now in direct contact with the structure, causing abrasion and damage to the building. Due to the ongoing increase in stem diameter, further structural damage is considered likely if the tree is retained. The proposed removal is therefore necessary to prevent additional damage while maintaining the safety and integrity of the adjacent structure. T2 Lawson Cypress (Rear Garden) Remove one large declining lateral limb and carry out a crown clean to remove all deadwood throughout the canopy. Reason for Works: A substantial lateral limb is in decline, exhibiting extensive dieback and a significant reduction in live foliage. The removal of this limb is proposed to reduce the risk of branch failure and improve the tree's overall condition. In addition, deadwood will be removed throughout the crown to eliminate potential hazards, improve canopy health, and form part of routine arboricultural management.
