Proposal
Prior Notification (Agricultural) - A balanced cut and fill earth moving operation to construct a reservoir using the clay beneath the site. No material to be brought onto or taken off site. Why necessary for agriculture: An abstraction license has been obtained ( NPS/WR/034220-AN/035/0006/010) to pump water from the Deben in winter months to fill a reservoir. This will allow irrigation of potatoes and onions which are well suited to the light land to the south of the farm, which to date could not be grown. Why designed for agriculture: The reservoir will be linked via an underground pipeline to the fields to be irrigated.
