Species does not respond well to heavy crown reduction. T2 - Beech - Crown reduction by 3-4m maintaining flowing canopy line (pruning cuts should not exceed 100mm diameter) under regulation 14. Removal of T1 will expose T2 to new wind forces resulting in potential crown failure or root heave. NB. Cobra Bracing (x2) should be inspected and readjusted where necessary following reduction.
