The objective is two fold: Along canal embankment from SK31693 55955 to SK31712 55874 1) to create a corridor along the existing Public Right of Way, measuring 2m high by 1.6m wide to facilitate access for machinery to undertake repairs on a collapsed section of canal embankment wall and the slumped PRoW surface. This will require crown raising along the entire length between the two Grid Reference points provided to a height of 2m. 2) to recoppice all previously cut growth in the stone wall embankment upon which the Public Right of Way runs, to prevent structural damage. Trees are predominantly ash and sycamore. Some Wych elm is present, rooted in the embankment wall.
