Bridge At SW 777 385 Perranarworthal Cornwall

Awaiting decision Cornwall PA21/00807/PREAPP Pre-Application HBA - Publicly Available

Still open. Anyone can comment while the consultation period runs, and comments go to the council rather than to us.

Proposal

Pre-application advice for repairing the bulging section of the downstream spandrel wall; Rebuilding the leaning downstream parapet; Repairing the cracks in the arch and abutment; General re-pointing of the entire structure. Additionally: In its current condition the bridge does not satisfy the full 40 tonne assessment loading and it has been assessed to have the capacity to carry 7.5 tonne vehicles and Group 1 FEs only. Due to this, the bridge may require further strengthening work to guarantee the integrity and safety of the structure and highway.Grade II structure.
