Tree: 1 No. London Plane (Platanus ? acerifolia) Tree location - The Old Deanery, Deans Court, London, EC4V 5AA The proposed works comprise selective crown reduction and pruning to provide clearance from the adjacent building and facilitate the planned construction works and crane access. The existing crown spread towards each elevation in meters measures Creed Lane ? 6.8m Ludgate Hill 10.8m The proposed remaining crown spread in metres. Creed Lane 2.2m Ludgate Hill 4.6m The length of live crown to be removed. Creed Lane 4m Ludgate Hill 6.2m Approximate maximum diameter of the branches likely to be removed in centimetres - 15cm Proposed finished clearance between the crown and building in meters. Creed Lane 0m Ludgate Hill 6.2m The reductions will be achieved through selective removal of suitable branches and branch sections, with pruning cuts made at appropriate pruning points. The works will seek to retain a balanced and natural crown form while maintaining the health and structural integrity of the tree. Any dead, damaged, diseased or otherwise unsuitable branches identified during the works may also be removed where appropriate. The works are required to provide the necessary clearance from the building to facilitate construction activities and crane operations, while retaining the tree in a safe, healthy and structurally appropriate condition. All works will be undertaken by competent arboricultural operatives in accordance with the accompanying RAMS and good arboricultural practice. Larger branches will be lowered in a controlled manner using suitable arboricultural rigging equipment where required.
