Proposal
SPEN mains upgrade is required to modernise the electrical supplies into all the flats in the building. Metal trunking to be installed to the communal area of the stairs, with cables passing through the landings to the flats. A new distribution board will be installed at the point of supply, feeding an individual cable for each flat with a new fuse installed in each property connected to the existing meter. There may be a requirement for a white PVC trunking to contain the cable.

About heritage and listed buildings applications
How this application type works
Heritage applications concern listed buildings and conservation areas. Listed building consent is needed for works, inside or out, that affect the special interest of a listed building, and carrying out such works without consent is a criminal offence. The council weighs harm to the heritage asset against any public benefit of the proposal.
