The works are intended to rebalance the crown, improve clearance from the driveway and telephone pole, reduce the overall spread and density of the canopy, and maintain the tree at a suitable size for its location. The tree is currently in good overall health. 1 to 2 metres across the upper canopy. There is quite a lot of weight on the lower right-hand side, so ideally around 2 to 3 metres in that section, where suitable pruning points allow, to reduce the end weight and balance the tree out a little.
