Specification: Reduce eastern lateral spread by 0.5-1m back to suitable growth points and ensuring greenery remains. Reason: The tree’s lateral growth is encroaching over the applicant’s property. The proposed works are limited to a minor reduction to manage encroachment and maintain appropriate clearance, while retaining the tree’s overall form and contribution to local amenity. The extent of pruning has been specified to ensure the works remain proportionate and in accordance with good arboricultural practice.
