Works: Trees
Still open. Anyone can comment while the consultation period runs, and comments go to the council rather than to us.
Proposal
T1 Rowan- Remove. The tree is overgrown and too big for the garden, causing excessive shade. The flowers and berries also drop over our garden and our neighbours garden causing a nuisance. Our neighbours are elderly and cannot easily clean the mess from the berries and we fear these could become slippery on their paved garden. The tree also causes excessive shade into our neighbours garden.

Leylandii tree - at the front of our house planted by previous owners. This is hugely overgrown for the space and sits between our house and a low boundary wall. It overhangs the public footpath. Part of it is deceased. We want to remove this down to stump level and treat so that it cannot grow back. Marked with a star on the plan.

Holly (Ilex) fell and remove debris from site. Completely remove dying tree. There is a holly blight that has affected other holly trees nearby causing them to drop their leaves and not regrown new ones. it is unsightly and dead the leaves cause a nuisance in the garden. No plan to replace the tree as the ground soil is not good. Garden would benefit from more light.
