The Langton Horse 189 - 191 London Road Charlton Kings Cheltenham Gloucestershire GL52 6HT
Selective crown reduction of extended lateral limbs, as indicated by the red lines in the attached image within application. Targeted reduction of approximately 2-3 metres to specific over-extended branches, primarily on the north-west and west-facing sides, to reduce end-weight and sail area over the car park and pedestrian access route. All pruning to be carried out in line with BS3998:2010 Tree Work - Recommendations, ensuring sympathetic cuts are made to appropriate growth points. The objective of this work is to reduce structural loading on compromised sections of the tree and minimise immediate risk to people and property, without compromising the overall form or long-term retention potential of the tree, should removal not be permitted.
