Eucalyptus (TR1) ? Proposed Removal The eucalyptus tree identified as TR1 has grown to a substantial height and now presents a potential risk to the structural integrity of the adjacent listed property. While the tree is valued for its visual appeal, its increasing size and the volume of organic debris it produces are beginning to affect both the external fabric and the substructure of the building. A partial crown reduction was carried out several years ago in an effort to manage its growth and mitigate these concerns. However, the tree has since continued to expand, and the issues have persisted. In light of this, full removal is now considered necessary to protect the long-term condition of the heritage asset and reduce ongoing maintenance burdens. Robinia (TR2) ? Proposed Removal The Robinia designated as TR2, located within the garden of the listed property, has unfortunately died and now requires removal (please see supporting photos). Its current condition poses a safety hazard and presents a risk to both the surrounding landscape and the built environment. The tree?s decline has been observed over time, and its complete loss of vitality confirms that remedial action is no longer feasible. Removal is therefore proposed to prevent further deterioration of the site and to allow for potential replanting in a manner sympathetic to the character and setting of the listed property.
