Property risk inspection report attached to application. 3 trees I want to continue previous management. Lime T4 on front lawn 15 Oxenden Drive, fell and stump grind, Photo LimeT4 rot at top shows disease.. Beech T5 - beside front drive adjacent brick wall, regular maintenance, re pollard to previous pollard points Oak T1 - in rear garden 15 Oxenden Drive. Start to remove, crown reduction then additional halve height. Reason it is identified in attached survey report as causing risk to 13 Oxenden Drive, removal recommended butto be carried out in 2 stages to reduce risk of "heave". I wish to protect their property by getting the Oak out in 2 stages , final removal after a period of at least a year to minimise risk of heave.

T1 Weeping silver birch in the front garden -The trunk is approximately 2.5 metres from the front of the house and 2.5 metres from the front boundary. Proposed works: Selectively shorten branches on the house-facing side of the crown by up to 1 metre, pruning back to suitable lateral growth points, to increase clearance from the dwelling. Selectively shorten upper shoots growing towards the overhead telephone wires by up to 1 metre. No general crown-height reduction is proposed beyond this selective pruning. Lightly thin the remaining crown by up to 10%, concentrating on small, congested secondary branches and selectively removing crossing or rubbing branches. Retain an even distribution of foliage and the tree characteristic rounded, weeping form. Remove dead and damaged branches where present. No topping, pollarding or removal of major structural limbs is proposed. All pruning to follow BS 3998:2010 recommendations. Reasons: To reduce encroachment towards the house and overhead tele... read more

Willow adjacent to the New River (W2 approximately 6m from High Road Broxbourne) - shape the semi-mature tree to establish a good form for the future. Willow tree at W3 north west corner of site - remove the southern most branch which is causing an imbalance and threatens stability. Shape the remainder of the tree.
