Planning application

Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
T1 (Norway Maple): A site visit was carried out by Chris Hancox (MBTS) and Tarek Ball (Tree officer BDC) To discuss best practice solutions for the tree. The Mature tree has a vast size canopy that is encroaching over the property. To lower the risk of limb failure, the best solution would require a crown reduction of 25% (3m). T2 to T8: The trees stated are in poor condition or are low value. If works are to commence on any of the trees in question, Tarek must be informed. T1 (Norway Maple) 25% reduction (3m) T2 (Birch) Remove T3 (Birch) Remove. T4 (Eucalyptus) Remove. T5 (Fir) Remove. T6 (Tulip) Reduce or remove. T7 (Willow) Pollard or remove.T8 (Sycamore) Remove.

The process from here
Permission has been granted, usually subject to conditions listed on the decision notice, some of which must be discharged before work starts. The decision notice on the council portal sets out exactly what was approved.
Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses. Neighbours cannot appeal a grant; challenging one means judicial review of how the decision was made, within tight time limits.
About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.
