Sweet Chestnut - approx 23m in height and 14m spread. North Aspect: Reduce upper crown by approx 3m to suitable upright growth points. Reduce overextended north-facing limb by 1-2m back to appropriate secondary growth points. South Aspect: Reduce lower limb by approx 4m, cutting back to suitable growth points. East Aspect: Reduce lowest limb by approx 3m. Remove identified split limb. Remove smaller associated tear-out on the same limb. Reduce remaining lateral growth by 1-2m shaping back to fence line. South-East Aspect: Reduce overextended limb by approx 1-2 metres to suitable growth points. Crown to be balanced and reshaped to maintain natural form. Reduce end-weight on extended limbs throughout the canopy.
