This work is required due to previous failure of this nature. Sweet Chestnut (T4) - Current height approximately 8m. Recommend for the removal / coppice of limb extending over garden towards house to minimise the risk to garden fencing and pergola the structure of this tree. T17 Oak - trunk is leaning over boundary (there are plans in place to build a road) risk that this may destroy new boundary fence and risk to road - propose to coppice. T21 Chestnut - fell. T1 Oak - split in trunk is weighted with branches, tree surgeon has suggested removed of some of these limbs, also dead wooding required to preserve tree. T25 Oak - leaning limb, recommended to coppice to enable new regrowth of the tree. T19 Oak - dead wooding required and recommended by Tree surgeon to remove of lower branches to promote growth. 23 & 27 - Laurel some coppicing to promote regrowth and to reduce excessive shading in some areas. General woodland to be assessed for thinning of sapplings, including holly.

Blue Cedar (T1) at front edge of property boundary. Reduce by approx 2m in height and 4m in spread. Currently the tree is 12m high and has a spread of 12m, after the reduction, tree will be approx 10m tall and have a spread of 8m Reason for the work is to stop the tree from out growing its space, reduce spread and overhang over footpath and to reduce weight and windsail amongst the canopy to reduce risk of branches breaking in high wind.
