Proposal

Hallwood is a designated TPO woodland to be managed for biodiversity. A Felling Licence application has been submitted to Forestry Commission; however the following non-tree works are proposed to allow biodiversity enhancements to be delivered. Re-digging the ponds by hand and/or mini-digger; Creation of hibernacula and habitat piles with dead wood around pond edges and within woodland; Remove small amount of deadwood where required for safety; Mark out compartment zones with markers/tape; Track/ride maintenance and improvements. No felling of live trees to be carried out until the Felling Licence is issued. Forestry Commission to be notified prior to any works listed commence. (TPO5/1948 (map 18))
