Planning application

3 Farr Royd Terrace Farr Royd Burley In Wharfedale Ilkley West Yorkshire LS29 7HZ

Awaiting decision Bradford 26/01802/CPN

Works: Trees

Still open. Anyone can comment while the consultation period runs, and comments go to the council rather than to us.

Proposal

T1 - Ash Tree, T2 - Silver Birch Tree - Fell - The trees are situated within a relatively small and narrow garden setting and have become disproportionately large for their surroundings. Due to their positioning in close proximity to the neighbouring gardens, they are casting significant shade over the garden, resulting in a substantial reduction in natural light to the property and usable garden space. The proposed removals are requested in order to improve natural light levels to both the property and garden. The trees are not considered to make a significant individual contribution to the wider visual amenity of the conservation area, and their removal would have minimal impact on the character and appearance of the surrounding area.
