Pine (T1) – Front boundary of 79 Pinehill Road: - Reduce lowest branch on northern side by approximately 3 metres to alleviate branch end weight and leverage and give good clearance to property. - Reduce lateral branch originating at approximately 10 metres from ground level on northern side by approximately 2 metres to alleviate branch end weight and leverage - Remove broken branch within upper crown on northern side - Carry out reduction work to remaining lateral branches on northern side as required to shape and balance in line with reduction works to lower lateral branches - Reduce over extended lateral branch on southern side over highway by approximately 5 metres to alleviate branch end weight and leverage Remove all deadwood from entire crown area Reason for application: Proposed reduction works are being advised to mitigate potential failure associated with V-shaped unions exhibiting significant included bark. The presence of reactive growth (commonly referred to as 'elephant’s ears') indicates that the tree is actively attempting to compensate for structural stress Pine (T2) – Front boundary of 79 Pinehill Road: - Front garden, front boundary - Remove all deadwood from entire crown area
