Fairwood comprises of four properties housed in a single large building. To the rear of Fairwood are common grass areas, patio owned by #2 Fairwood and a large pathed area for allocated parking. In the rear garden of Diplands Cottage is a large yew tree (T1) branches from T1 have expended into Fairwood by some 5 meters at the maximum point, berries, debris and bird droppings are deposited onto cars, grass and and the patio owned by #2 Fairwood. The longest branches now extend to Fairwood buildings and will soon deposit debris in guttering. We're applying for the following:- reduce branch length in the western canopy by a maximum of 2 meters. T1 is a classic xmas tree shape hence the word 'maximum', higher branches would need less reduction - the lowest branches are the longest. This is a repeat of past tree work approved December 2015 your reference T/00451/15/TCA.
