Permission has been granted, usually subject to conditions listed on the decision notice, some of which must be discharged before work starts. The decision notice on the council portal sets out exactly what was approved.

  Fairwood comprises of four properties housed in a single large building. To the rear of Fairwood are common grass areas, patio owned by #2 Fairwood and a large pathed area for allocated parking. In the rear garden of Diplands Cottage is a large yew tree (T1) branches from T1 have expended into Fairwood by some 5 meters at the maximum point, berries, debris and bird droppings are deposited onto cars, grass and and the patio owned by #2 Fairwood. The longest branches now extend to Fairwood buildings and will soon deposit debris in guttering. We're applying for the following:- reduce branch length in the western canopy by a maximum of 2 meters. T1 is a classic xmas tree shape hence the word 'maximum', higher branches would need less reduction - the lowest branches are the longest.
