Brick and point up to sole plate(if a new plate is required). Traditional soft red bricks and lime mortar. Insulate between studwork, Hepm crete mix. Hemp cretencan be used as substrate for lime render if a minimum of 70mm thickness over the face of timbers can be achieved. If it cannot, We //would propose using softwood cut timber lathes. Douglas fir or Larch. Lime plaster internal, and lime render external supplied by Best of lime Ltd using warmcote then limecote system to achieve additional insulation and a total of 20mm render for sufficient weather proofing. finished with traditional lime wash paint.
