I have recently moved into this property (a week ago) and the previous owner does not know the type of tree it is as it was already here when she moved here in 1995. It is a large mature tree and as bronze leaved I can guess at it being Prunus cerasifera Nigra as my neighbours say it has lovely blossom. Without leaves it is difficult to confirm this at present. However I am keen to do this work whilst it is dormant and as it is very congested and needs thinning. I would like to thin by 25 to 30% to increase light in my garden and to improve its health and appearance. There is only one tree marked on the sketch plan.
