The method concentrates on the removal of small percentages of the foliage bearing branches which are pruned back to the best, naturally occurring pruning points within the canopy. Only a small percentage of the foliage is removed, typically between 5 and 20%. This represents a subtle and progressive tree management method, which is sympathetic to the trees health and growth requirements." Justification: The tree his plays an important part of the street scheme and is of moderate amenity value. However, the tree has been reduced in the past and has a dense outer crown structure that if left unchecked could lead to over-crowded branches it will also outgrow its location if left. Regular sensitive reductions will maintain a viable leaf bearing crown and enable the tree to maintain at a size so that it can continue to be an asset in the future.

    T1- sycamore. Previously pollared at 14 metre. We would like to crown reduce sycamore by 2-3 metre north side of tree over extending house side. We have had branches fall of the tree recently, which only just missed the conservatory.The sycamore has a lot of squirrel damage throughout the canopy which is quite concerning. T2- self seeded sycamore growing against garden fence remove to ground level. T3-large sycamore crown lift 4/5 metre and side prune north side of tree 2 metre one limb on the tree is over extending.
