Removal of 4 trees: Two ash trees with stage one Ash die back: A - Ash tree is about 6 metres from the house and has a split stem which makes it weaker. It leans toward the grade 2 listed house. B - Ash tree is next the the grade 2 Victorian sluice gates. The tree is hard to photograph as it sits between two other trees. The tree is 5 about metres from the house and sits above it. C - A full grown Magnolia tree touches the house on the west facing corner. The stem is about 40cm from the house. D - 2 metre Ceder tree about 1 metre from the house, on the west side of the house. Mark from Holbrook Garden Maintenance is the contractor and has been out today to look at the trees ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have three acres of land with many trees. I took it on 3 years ago and it wasnt managed properly for 20 years. There are many trees that need looking at, especially those alluded to in the report dated 6.12.23 by the structural engineer (HWA consulting engineers) in the mill pond and along the watercourse. This includes self seeded willows in the silt of the pond and many trees that have self seeded within the wall of the brook ( grade 2 listed walls leading from the sluice gates). When I spoke to Fergus today he said hed look at these when he came out. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I spoke to Fergus today about a 60 ft Goat Willow with a split stem. One of the stems has fallen down and has left partial roots for the remaining 60 foot stem. The tree is on the grade 2 listed wall line to the brook. I have marked it with a cross on the site map. Fergus says this is an unsafe tree and can come down without needing to go though planing. He said to send an email wit
