Tree surgeon says crown reduction and thinning. Only as much as will not damage the tree. This as becoming large and close to house (circa 8m) and even closer to sewer and land drains (circa 6 and 3 metres respectively. Current crown 8 to 10 metres across. Beautiful copper beech. On the inside (just) of my boundary wall, facing the Hollins. Single tree and the only copper beech, so my sketch would not add anything. However I have provided sketches in past applications for the same works.

Trees to the north of the property, south side of the river bank. G1: Trim back trees along the laterally wall to maintain clearance for vehicles. Trimming back to wall and approximately 3m high. G1.1: Trees in this section are forming more of a hedge structure. Reduce in height to approximately 5m in this smaller section to prevent hedge from growing too tall. T1: Alder. Re-pollard to previous pollard points due to the re-growth becoming very long and spindly, and also growing northeast toward neighboring properties.
