Cypress (T1) - Fell - Tree has been allowed to grow from mixed hedge, felling will allow space for adjacent Liquidambar Slender Silhouette to fill in to Rowan (T2) - Fell - Tree is in poor physiological condition due to competition from previously felled trees and climbing rose. Felling will also provide space and sightlines on adjacent pine Laburnum (T3) - Coppice - Reduce height to ca. 1m, removing growth from road and bringing flowering growth down in to human eyeline Copper Beech (T4) - Fell - Leaning due to competition from previously removed conifers, and with significant and increasing damage from squirrels. To be replaced with a smaller flowering tree, species tbc Cypress (T5) - Fell - Tree is uninteresting and would allow space for a tree with more interest Cedar (T6) - Fell - Tree is suffering from progressive deterioration from Cedar Needle Blight. Removal will allow replacement with a Swamp Cypress, in time giving a tree of similar scale Laurel (T7) - Reduce to 1m - This will allow the laurel to be maintained by hedgetrimming at a more manageable size

Laurel (T1)- Fell. T1 has grown too large for its position, so felling will allow replacement with a more aesthetically pleasing mixture of trees and shrubs Laurel (T2) - Reduce to 1m stems to create a smaller bush that can be hedgetrimmed to maintain size Laurel (T3) - Reduce to 1m stems to create a smaller bush that can be hedgetrimmed to maintain size

Leylandii (T1, T2, T3, T4, T5) - Fell. Failure of 1 co-dominant trunk of adjacent Leylandii (marked on sketch plan) leaves T1-T5 exposed to the wind. Removal to mitigate risk of remaining trees falling on road / phone lines etc. NB T2 is standing dead.

  • TRE/2023/0202 Granted

T1 - Magnolia - Remove water growth particularly on southern half of tree T2 - Cherry Laurel - crown reduction by ca. 2m to control size T3, T4, T5 - Conifers - Fell - This area is to be replanted, removing the dense conifers (T3-5) from adjacent to the boundary hedge and neighbouring property, providing space for the Dawn Redwood and light to the beech hedge at the boundary line. A number of new trees to be planted further from the boundary, species / cultivar tbc once the space can be seen without the existing conifers T6 - Conifer - Fell to provide space and light for the Magnolia grandiflora at its base and the rowan adjacent

T2- self seeded sycamore growing against garden fence remove to ground level. T3-large sycamore crown lift 4/5 metre and side prune north side of tree 2 metre one limb on the tree is over extending.

Trees to the north of the property, south side of the river bank. G1: Trim back trees along the laterally wall to maintain clearance for vehicles. Trimming back to wall and approximately 3m high. G1.1: Trees in this section are forming more of a hedge structure. Reduce in height to approximately 5m in this smaller section to prevent hedge from growing too tall. T1: Alder. Re-pollard to previous pollard points due to the re-growth becoming very long and spindly, and also growing northeast toward neighboring properties.
