  • TRE/2020/0828 Decided

Horsley Village Hall 40 Church Street Horsley Derby Derbyshire DE21 5BR

I propose to crown reduce the north aspect of T1 single Beech tree to give 3m clearance to the village hall, it is planted too close to the building and I feel it should ideally be removed as it is going to be an ongoing problem as it grows. I would also like to crown lift T2-T9 to a height of 2.5m to make maintenance easier and to try to prevent children from climbing in them.

    Decided 3 Nov 2020 Trees

Overhanging branches on a mature street tree lime within the highway verge opposite No.28 Church Street Horsley, restricting access to vehicles entering private property, and close to effecting high sided vehicles on the adjacent highway. The first major limb on the carriageway side of the canopy, has a low lateral habit with end weighted growth, and is at risk of possible failure in the future or constant requirements for highway clearance. Crown lift canopy on all sides to a clear height above ground level of 5.5 metres. Reduce branch overhanging the highway by 3 meters in length.
