I propose to remove 7 Leyalandii T1-T7. They would like to remove these and replant a specimen tree. They are intimidated by how tall they are and are concerned that they will fail in high winds as they have had branches snap out and when they are blown around, the earth underneath them moves. there is plenty of mature tree surrounding them so public amenity value should not be affected and there is an untouched Maple next to them that will be able to grow into their gap over time.

Trees to the north of the property, south side of the river bank. G1: Trim back trees along the laterally wall to maintain clearance for vehicles. Trimming back to wall and approximately 3m high. G1.1: Trees in this section are forming more of a hedge structure. Reduce in height to approximately 5m in this smaller section to prevent hedge from growing too tall. T1: Alder. Re-pollard to previous pollard points due to the re-growth becoming very long and spindly, and also growing northeast toward neighboring properties.
