Planning application

5 The Field Shipley Heanor Derbyshire DE75 7JH

Decided Amber Valley TRE/2018/0340 Trees

Works: Trees

Decided. The decision notice on the council portal carries the outcome in full, including any conditions.

Proposal

T1: Lime: Raise crown to 4.5m: To allow sufficient clearance for vehicles. T2: Fell: Suppressed by T1. Its removal will allow full crown formation of T1 with a negligible adverse impact. T3: Ash: Reduce by 3m: Previously reduced under guidance of insurers following a subsidence claim. A continuation of this management. T4: Lawsons Cypress: Fell: Causing continuous shading of allotments. Will aid suppressed magnolia underneath. Not particularly in keeping with broadleaf surroundings. G1: Field Maple: Reduce by 3m: this group has outgrown its original purpose as a hedgerow and is over growing the lane to the rear. A reduction will allow the gradual reinstatement of a lower boundary group of trees

Trees to the north of the property, south side of the river bank. G1: Trim back trees along the laterally wall to maintain clearance for vehicles. Trimming back to wall and approximately 3m high. G1.1: Trees in this section are forming more of a hedge structure. Reduce in height to approximately 5m in this smaller section to prevent hedge from growing too tall. T1: Alder. Re-pollard to previous pollard points due to the re-growth becoming very long and spindly, and also growing northeast toward neighboring properties.
