Proposal
Section 211 Notice under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to crown reduce and reshape to produce a smaller, balanced crown, Cherry tree (T1); Reduce crown back to previous established pruning points and reshape accordingly. Crown lift to provide approximately 1.8 m (6 ft) clearance above ground level, Canadian Maple (T2); Reduce overall crown by approx 50% and reduce lateral spread by approx 0.3-0.6 m (1-2 ft), establishing new pruning points for future routine maintenance. Retain and reshape remaining crown, Bay tree (T3); Prune and reshape crown, including removal or reduction of overhanging branches, Plum tree (T4); Crown reduce and reshape to control overall size, retaining a balanced and natural form. Cut back branches and growth overhang to clear pathway, Olive tree (T5); Crown reduce and reshape to control overall height and spread whilst retaining a balanced form. Remove or reduce branches overhanging roof of the main house, Holly tree (T6); Reduce the overall crown by approximately 50% and reshape. Remove selected rear stems and growth extending towards or against flint boundary wall, Bay tree (T7); Crown reduce by approx 1.2-1.5 m (4-5 ft), reducing crown to retain a balanced and natural form, Sweet Chestnut (T8); in the Durrington Conservation Area.
