TPO/114/2/I T1 – Silver Birch. It is proposed to reduce the crown by approximately 1–2 metres, pruning back towards the previous reduction points where suitable. Given the tree's previous management history and the amount of regrowth produced, we would also request consideration for the tree to be managed on an approximately 2–3 year pruning cycle, reducing new growth back towards the established pruning framework as required.

I would like to apply to prune the tree back to its previously points to maintain the tree's size and also preserve the Tree's health for the future and limb over extension and potential failure. Due to the fast growing nature of Silver Birches I would like to apply for it to be a recurring application to be allowed to prune the tree by 1-2 metres back to the previous pruning points every 2 years.
