Planning application

16 Westbourne Grove Scarborough North Yorkshire YO11 2DL

Granted North York Moors National Park 26/05143/TCON Tree works in Conservation Areas

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

(T1) - Purple plum - crown reduce to 2 feed below previous cuts, to prevent tear outs. (T2) - Horse chestnut - crown reduce to previous cuts, required due to lapsed pollard, which has left tight unions and potential for tear outs. There is also evidence of bleeding within unions. The crown reduction will reduce weight within the branches, minimising tear outs.
