Proposal
Work requested for G1 under TPO Norton-Juxta-Kempsey 001 2009. Attached report identifies remaining trees of G1 as "T2" and "T3". T2 (Pinus Nigra)- Reduce the upper and east side of the crown by upto 2m in height and radial branch length T3 (Pinus Nigra) - Reduce the crown height and radial spread by up to 1.5m. Also remove dead hanging branch. TPO tree "T3" (Pinus Sylvetris), identified in report as "T4", owned by "The Paddock". Prune back the overhanging branch to the first upright branch junction above the fence, removing approx. 4 metres of branch length. Annotated pictures are included within the attached report for clarification. No replanting as pruning/trimming work only.

The process from here
Permission has been granted, usually subject to conditions listed on the decision notice, some of which must be discharged before work starts. The decision notice on the council portal sets out exactly what was approved.
Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses. Neighbours cannot appeal a grant; challenging one means judicial review of how the decision was made, within tight time limits.
About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.
