The process from here
Permission has been granted, usually subject to conditions listed on the decision notice, some of which must be discharged before work starts. The decision notice on the council portal sets out exactly what was approved.
Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses. Neighbours cannot appeal a grant; challenging one means judicial review of how the decision was made, within tight time limits.
About full applications applications
How this application type works
A full application seeks permission for a complete, detailed proposal in one go: siting, design, access and landscaping are all fixed at this stage. It is the standard route for new buildings, conversions and changes of use. The statutory target is eight weeks for smaller schemes and thirteen weeks for major development, though complex cases often take longer by agreement.

02/2/73 T1 - Cedar - Remove the partially split and storm-damaged branch by pruning it back to the supporting union. This accords with BS3998:2010, which recommends the removal of defective or weakened branches where they present a foreseeable risk of failure. Reduce the extended branch over the garden by cutting it back to a suitable secondary growth point. This is consistent with BS3998:2010 guidance on crown reduction, ensuring that pruning cuts are made to appropriate laterals to maintain natural form, limit exposure, and reduce the likelihood of future structural imbalance. T2 - Ash - Side reduce on garden side of number 42 by no more than 2m, removing material no greater than 25mm in diameter. Remove deadwood throughout the crown (exempt from notification) to reduce the risk of branch drop and maintain safe site use. T3 Beech - Cut back the crown to provide a clearance of up to 3m from the roofline, selectively reducing only those branches that directly encroach on the structure. Pruning cuts will be made to suitable secondary growth points in accordance with BS3998:2010, maintaining natural form and avoiding excessive exposure of the remaining crown.
