From two branches over the Azaleas, raise crown by removal of secondary branches. From the two branches over the Rhododendrons, remove the first and second pendulous branches and carry out further clearance to allow more light. Beech: Raise crown by removal of two lowest branches and the branch one metre above. Sycamore: Remove crown to approx three metres above the main fork. Sycamore: Fell. Silver Birch: Fell. Ash: Remove crown of tree, leaving high stump of approx. eight metres height. Horse Chestnut: Remove crown, leaving stump of approx 5 - 6 metres height. Sycamore: Fell. Douglas Fir: Remove shattered and hung up branches. Sycamore: Remove deadwood overhanging Wightwick Bank and selectively reduce crown on the roadside.
