APPLICATION FOR WORKS TO PROTECTED TREE(S) TPO 782/1996, AREA 1 T1, Oak – Cut back 2 no. highest branches facing road by 4 metres; remove lowest branch (as indicated on submitted photo) T2, Silver Birch – Cut back 2 no. branches overhanging driveway by 3 metres (as indicated on submitted photo) T3, Oak – Cut back highest branch by 4 metres and second highest branch by 3 metres; remove lowest branch (as indicated on submitted photo) T4, Scots Pine – Cut back 1 no. branch by 3 metres (as indicated on submitted photo) T5, Scots Pine – Cut back 1 no. branch by 3 metres (as indicated on submitted photo. Works amended: T1, Oak - Remove 2 x stub lower branches back to source. Remove lower fork of lateral branch over highway (reduction of approximately 5m off this branch). Reduce second branch over highway by approximately 2m to provide statutory clearance of the public highway. T1A, Birch - Crown lift removing two small secondary branches back to source to provide statutory clearance of the public highway. T2, Birch (adjacent to the driveway)- Crown lift removing or reducing smaller secondary branches as appropriate to avoid leaving stub-cut branches in order to raise canopy 2m. Reduce two extended low, lateral branches - growing in the direction of the streetlight by 1- 1.5m to reduce oscillation of extended branches following the canopy lift. T3, Oak - Remove 3 x dead or declining branches over the shed back to trunk.Reduce over-extended low, lateral branch on southwest side of canopy by up to 2m. T4, Pine - Remove dead, dysfunctional, or dangerous wood from tree canopy. T5, Birch - Small dead tree, fell to ground level.
