Rear garden - T1 Eucalyptus - fell. This is a non native fast growing tree which requires a lot of routine maintenance to maintain a balanced relationship between the tree and home owner. Over the last decade the tree has been reduced a couple of times. This has been done because the tree over shadows the garden and also the tree has a low union and the reduction work has reduced the stress on this union. The tree is of poor amenity value and cannot be viewed from the road. T2 Lawson Cypress - reduce in height by 2.5m to the previous pruning points. This will leave a finished tree height of 8m from ground level. All pruning cuts will be made to suitable secondary growth points. Routine maintenance to maintain a more compact height for its location. G1 Group of trees comprising of approx. 2X Hazel, 1X Holly, 1X Conifer, 1X Ash and Laurels, 1X Ash, Hazel and Laurel - prune back the drive side lateral profile to the edge of the drive in line with the granite setts on the nearest edge of the drive. Routine maintenance to maintain a more compact spread for its location. And to stop the encroachment onto the drive. G2 X Purple Plum and Cherry - raise the canopies to 2.6m from ground level over the footpath and drive. Low hanging branches over the drive footpath under statutory heights. (Works subject to TPO 626/0075/1966).

(T1) : Fagus sylvatica - Crown Reduction (lateral aspect only) remove a number of lateral branches on the south-western aspect of the crown, specifically those that overhang the roof of Hollybank House, pruned back to the property boundary line. No reduction in the overall height of the tree is sought. All cuts to be made at a natural branch union or node, in full compliance with BS 3998:2010. The specific cut points are indicated by red markers on the photograph at Section 7 (Photo 1 / IMG_0584). Four branch junctions are marked at approximately 5 to 8 metres above ground level, where lateral branches cross the boundary and bear over the roof.
