Proposal

Consent to strip the whole of the existing main roof and reinstate with new Welsh slate. Introduction of a breather membrane and increased insulation between the rafters in the ceiling. The existing roof light on the front elevation to be removed. New lead flashing and gutter linings to be introduced and the water tabling and parapets capped in lead to protect from water ingress. Internally the existing boards will be removed in the loft area, to facilitate the installation of increased insulation and traditional boarding installed. To the rear a small lean- to roof will be replaced with the same materials.
