Lime - crown clean (removal of dead, defective branches, stubs) and either option a) crown thin by up to 20% the regrowth from the previous reduction points or option b) crown reduce back to the points of previous reduction leaving where possible a proportion of the smaller live twigs and branches to prevent potential dysfunction of the parent branches or stem; epicormics to be removed once a year over the next 2 years.
